These 1,560-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom modular homes, built by Unibilt, have been installed on the City’s Eastside, creating new opportunities for homeownership in the neighborhood.
Over the next few weeks, crews will add the finishing touches, including porches and the shared driveway.
🔑 The homes are expected to be ready for prospective owners to move in within the next month.

🏠 The new homes built by Unibilt have arrived in The Cov!
The 1,560-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom homes were delivered in two sections — the first floor and the second floor — to the Covington Central Riverfront for staging before making their way to Pleasant Street, where they’ll be placed on permanent foundations.
It`s part of the City’s ongoing efforts to expand homeownership opportunities in the Eastside neighborhood.

🎒 Help get your students ready for the new school year!
The 2026 Backpacks Bonanza, Northern Kentucky`s largest school readiness project, is happening on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to noon at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Covington parking lot.
Thanks to Northern Kentucky Harvest, in collaboration with @beconcerned__ and the @brightoncenter, hundreds of backpacks will be distributed to Northern Kentucky students in preschool through high school, including homeschooled students.
🏡 Big things are arriving on Pleasant Street this week!
The first two homes in a new workforce housing development in Covington`s Eastside neighborhood will be delivered on Wednesday, Aug. 5, before being lifted by crane and set on their permanent foundations on Thursday, Aug. 6, and Friday, Aug. 7.
Earlier this summer, Mayor Ron Washington and City staff toured Unibilt Industries, where these modular homes were built in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Now, they`re making their way to Covington!
These homes mark the first phase of a larger project that will bring 15 new affordable, for-sale homes to the neighborhood, creating more opportunities for families to put down roots in Covington.

🍻 The Bavarian Apartments honors the legacy of The Bavarian Brewing Co., once Kentucky`s largest brewer and Covington`s largest employer.
Mayor Ron Washington joined project partners for the topping-out ceremony, marking the completion of the building`s structure for the new 125-unit apartment community developed by Merus and Urban Sites.
The Bavarian Apartments is set to welcome its first residents in May 2027.
